The Centre organized a three-week summer workshop on The Philosophy of Husserl, Heidegger, and Sartre from 21 February to 15 March 2001 in the Department of Philosophy, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. The programme attracted a large number of students as well as members of faculty pursuing research in the area of Phenomenology. The workshop was sponsored by Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology (CARP), USA.
